[15/11 - 2005] - Romania
There's been rumours about a Romanian gig for quite a while now, and here it is: LoT will play at the Palace Hall in Bucharest on Friday the 10th of March 2006! Details about tickets, preordering etc will come up as the date draws closer. More info on the venue can be found here.

[6/10 - 2005] - Interview
Daniel sums up the year since the "reunion", talks about songwriting and the future in a short interview over at Starry-Night.de.

[6/9 - 2005] - New label
"Welcome home Lake Of Tears. The whole team at Dockyard 1 is proud to welcome Lake Of Tears to the label. The Swedish Gothic Rock heroes will deliver their 7th full length album in Spring 2006."

... After some fuss at the old office, with their contact persons leaving the company - Lake of Tears have decided to move on to a new label formed by Dirk Putzke, Christine Stephan (both ex-Sanctuary/Noise Records) and Piet Sielck (IRON SAVIOR): check out Dockyard 1. More details on the new album will follow!

On December 2 LoT will play in their hometown Borås (for the first time in 10 years). Info in Swedish about venue, tickets etc: heavyfidelity.com(coming soon).

[2/8 - 2005] - This and that
There's some new clothing available over at Metalmerchant.com. Besides the usual T-shirts and longsleeves, the new print is also available on zipped hoods and girlies! Take a closer look at the print here.

Some sort of mini tour through eastern Europe is still being worked on... stay tuned!

[21/7 - 2005] - Floating gig
LoT is confirmed to play on this years "34 000 ton metal"-cruise, a metal-only boat trip between Stockholm and Åbo(Finland) arranged by the Sweden Rock team.
The ship leaves the port in Stockholm September 30 and comes back the day after. For more info and tickets contact Silja Line at +46 8 - 22 21 40.

[23/5 - 2005] - WGT shots
Photos from the WGT gig last weekend are now up in the live gallery.

... it was about time the bio section got updated with some info about Magnus Sahlgren! He's also reachable by mail on magnus@lakeoftears.net from now on.

There's been some roumors going on about LoT being confirmed for a gig in Lebanon - this is not true. This could change though, read Daniels' post about this in the forum...

[5/4 - 2005] - Wave Gotik Treffen
The appearance at the Wave Gotik Treffen in Lepzig, Germany (May 13-16) got confirmed today. LoT will play as headliners together with Tiamat on Saturday May 14. Information about tickets etc can be found at the festival's site.

[31/3 - 2005] - Misc live
Lake of Tears will most likely play att the Wave Gothik Treffen in Leipzig, Germany on May 14 (Saturday) - just some minor details to be arranged first. Other bands on the bill so far include Atrocity, Beseech, Die Krupps, Girls Under Glass, Mortiis, Subway To Sally, The Human League, Tiamat, Tristania and more.

For the second half of this year there's a new and extended tour through Russia in the planning. Also a east European minitour (and in that case most definitely Romania) is being looked at.

And by the way - we might see a new (and animated) LoT video later on!

A bit blurry news perhaps but we'll let you know when things are clearing up...

[3/3 - 2005] - Tuska festival (Helsinki, Finland)
From the Tuska Open Air press release today: "Swedish goth metallers Lake Of Tears and UK-based folkmetal group Bal-Sagoth have been requested for a long time by the audience and finally the wait is over, as both have been added to the roster." Check out the current artist roster here.

On a LoT-related note: Jennie Tebler (vocals on A Crimson Cosmos and The Neonai) is recording a solo album called "Silverwing" to be released under the Black Mark label during this spring.
