We will play some festivals during next summer. [5/9 - 2003] - Lake of Tears continues! After doing some rehearsals Mikael, Daniel and Johan have decided to go on with LoT! "Rehearsing has been very fun ...really rusty, but very fun and special", says Daniel. The band is also negotiating with a well-known label about a possible contract, more on this later... [4/8 - 2003] - LoT news!Cut from the forum: "I, Mikael and Johan have discussed playing together again and we will probably try it out in next week (if we can get our things together). It's been like four years so it will be really interesting. Anyway, if the feeling is there again (I think it may be, now when Black Mark is gone and all) ... there may be a record out next year (and hopefully some shows). Let's see ..." (Daniel Brennare). Read it here! [22/7 - 2003] - The rise of the ravens! It's been quite a while - I know. After the the release of "the Neonai" and being aware of the fact that LoT had quit as a band, I somewhat lost the spirit to go on with the site. I mean, what's there to tell when there's no band anymore? Around the same time I also got an employment, with all that's coming to it; late nights, working weekends etc, and soon the site unconsiously more or less fell into oblivion... "What the hell!", you say. "You selfish bastard! What about us? At least we could get some news updates now and then, just to so the online LoT-community wont rot and die completely." You're damn right. This new site will mainly focus on NEWS. News about LoT related things, news about Brennare's upcoming projects etc. As you probably understand, the news updates won't come as frequent as before (erhm...), but when I get hold of some new information I will post it here as soon as possible. As you can see the number of sections on the site has been stripped down to six. I've tried to keep it very simple and clean this time, without too many elements needing constant updating. If you need anything from the old site, like interviews or reviews, it's still available to browse through here. Lyrics, soundclips and tabs have merged into one section simply called "media" . Check out some new tabs from "the Neonai" there. The old message board (hosted by ultimatemetal) became a commercial service and since I don't have the budget I had to close it down. The new forum is hosted by me here at my work and should not go down until I loose my job... It's definitley as good as the old forum, if not better, so I hope we can get some discussions going again. I beleive forums are one of the most vital sections on all band sites. Anyway, enough rambling. Enjoy the site and please mail any comments to me at bjorn@lakeoftears.net PS. There's some new pics up in the gallery section! |
